Runway 34 is said to be inspired by true events.  Apart from Amitabh Bachchan and Rakul Preet, it stars Ajay Devgn, who has also directed it.

Ajay Devgn's Runway 34 looks like a gripping tale at 35,000 feet above the ground.  But this is not your regular story of a plane crash or its survivors.

The film's second trailer, which released on Monday, reveals that there is a lot more to the plot than it appears.

Ajay Devgn, who also directed the film, plays a pilot Vikrant Khanna, while Rakul Preet Singh plays his co-pilot.

Due to tribulations amidst bad weather, Vikrant pulls out all the stops to ensure the safe landing of the passenger plane.  But he looks like a man who has a lot to hide.

He chooses runway 34 for landing, much to the surprise of the control room.  Whether the plane lands or crashes is yet to be seen.  But his verdict certainly calls for a probe.

In Runway 34, Amitabh Bachchan plays the role of an investigative officer who is determined to uncover the true intentions of pilot Vikram Khanna.

According to Vikram, during such testing times, a pilot on one side becomes the sole savior for the passengers.

But on the other hand, everything that happens in the plane also becomes their responsibility.  The film also stars Boman Irani, Adheera Dhar and Akanksha Singh.
